"Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion!
For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," says the
Lord.–
Zachariah 2:10
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the
coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he
will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the
children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."
– Malachi 4:5,6
In the above verses we can see
Jehovah to have said as “I COME AND I DWELL”. According to these part of the
verses the present day’s preacher’s argument is that Jehovah has come in the
form Jesus. As a matter of fact, in the so many verses of the
Bible we can see Jehovah to have proclaimed figuratively that He came in this
world and performed miracles directly what he actually performed through His
prophets sent by Him as follows.
Then the Lord said to Moses: "How long
will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all
the signs which I have performed among them? I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them,
and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they. – Numbers
14:11,12
What curious in the above verse
is that, we can see Jehovah to have said that He performed the miracles coming
in this world what actually have been performed through Moses. If we take the
above verse in literal sense, we have to say that Jehovah has come in the form
of Moses in this world in this regard. Let us observe some another verses of
the same kind in the following.
And the Lord said to Samuel, "Heed the
voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected
you, but they have rejected Me. – 1 Samuel 8:7
In the above verse Jehovah says
that if anybody rejects Prophet Samuel, has rejected Himself. This means can we
say that Jehovah has come in the form of Samuel? Observe the following verse.
But thus says the Lord: "Even the
captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be
delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save
your children. I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, And they
shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know
That I, the Lord, am your Savior, And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of
Jacob." – Isaiah 49:25,26
In the above verse Jehovah says
that “I will contend with him that contended with you”. This means can we say
that Jehovah has come in the form of Jacob?
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF COMING OF JEHOVAH?
Then
fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has
risen up among us"; and, "God has visited His people. – Luke 7:16
If we read the above verses analytically
we can understand that what is the real meaning of “coming of Jehovah” in this
world. As a matter of fact, “Coming of Jehovah means to come His prophet on
behalf of Him to the people.” That is why in the so many contexts Jehovah has
compared the coming of prophets as His coming in this world. If we want to
understand this point in clear, we have to read the following verse.
Now his father Zacharias was filled with the
Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying: "Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,
For He has visited and redeemed His people, - Luke 1:67,68
DID JEHOVAH INCARNATE IN THE FORM OF JOHN?
In the above verse Prophet
Zachariah exhorts when his son John has born as- “He (Jehovah) has visited and redeemed
his people”. This means can we say that Jehovah has come in the form of John
and visited so as to redeem His people? In the same way Jehovah did not come in
this world in the form of Jesus but Jesus has sent by Jehovah in order to give
the commandments of God to the people just as the previous prophets sent by
Him.
JEHOVAH DID NOT COME IN THE FORM OF JESUS BUT JESUS
HAS BEEN BY HIM JUST AS THE PREVIOUS PROPHETS.
As the living Father sent Me, and I live
because of the Father,-… - John 6:57
I came forth from the Father and have come
into the world… - John 16:28
Jesus said to them, "If God were your
Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I
come of Myself, but He sent Me. – John 8:42
So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to
you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." – John 20:21
Thus in the so many verses we can
see Jesus to have proclaimed as Jehovah has sent him in this world.
THE ULTIMATE PROOF TO SAY THAT JEHOVAH DID NOT COME OR INCARNATE IN THE
FORM OF JESUS!
But He, because He continues forever, has an
unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those
who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for
them. – Hebrews 7:24,25
The above verse is the ultimate
verse to say that Jehovah did not come or incarnate in the form Jesus. If truly
Jehovah were incarnate in the form of Jesus then it should have been happened
that after ascension of Jesus to heaven from this world he should have been transformed
as Jehovah again. But what curious in the above verse is that Jesus intercedes
at Jehovah for those that who come to God through him. If Jehovah were
incarnate in the form of Jesus as contended by the preachers of now a day’s
then is there any meaning that Jesus intercedes at Jehovah in the heaven for
the believers? Ponder over this.
According to the so far analysis
we came to know that Jehovah did not come or incarnate in the form of Jesus.
And the meaning of coming of Jehovah in this world is that- coming of Prophet on
behalf of God.
