WHO ARE THOSE “THREE PROPHETS” ABOUT WHOM THE JEWS LOOKING FOR?
The Jews were in
anticipating eagerly for the advent of the three prophets before the time of
the birth of Jesus according to the prophecies. Who those three prophets are?
Let us see the answer for this question in the following verse.
Now this is the testimony
of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who
are you?” He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.”
And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.”
“Are you that Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” – John 1:19-21
On careful study of the
above verse it is made clear that the Jews were in anticipating for the three
prophets according to the prophecies. Those are- 1). Christ 2). Elijah 3). That
Prophet. If we Question as who is “THAT PROPHET” who was to come after the
advent of Christ and Elijah? The answer of so many preachers who do not have
the proper knowledge, is that- “Jesus is That Prophet”. Some argue as Jesus
will come in the status of That Prophet in his second coming! Setting aside
these arguments let us see where had been promised about That Prophet and from
where he was to come.
THAT PROPHET IS LAW GIVER AS MOSES ESTABLISHING THE THEOCRACY!
Moses- the Lord your God
will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren.
Him you shall hear. – Deuteronomy 18:15
According to the above
verse the Apostle also were eagerly looking forward for the advent of That
Prophet. The great evidence for this is that the Apostle has mentioned the
above prophecy after the ascension of Jesus from this world as follows.
For Moses truly said to
the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from
your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.
And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be
utterly destroyed from among the people. – Acts 3:22
Here the meaning of “a
Prophet like Moses” is that- The Prophet who brings the Law like Moses and
establishes the kingdom of God on earth i.e. theocracy. But according the
Apostle mention the above prophecy after the ascension of Jesus, it becomes
clear that the advent of That Prophet would take place only after the times of
Jesus.
THAT PROPHET WAS TO COME FROM THE MOUNT PARAN IN ARABIA.
Not only Moses had
prophesied as “God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst,
from your brethren” but he clearly proclaimed from which place “That Prophet”
would come in the another prophecy as follows.
The Lord came from
Sinai, and dawned on them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran, and He
came with ten thousands of saints; From His right hand came a fiery law for
them. – Deuteronomy 33:2
“He shone forth from
Mount Paran” means “That Prophet” who was to come on behalf of Jehovah, would
come from the Mount Paran located in Arabia. “From His right hand came a fiery
law for them” according to this prophecy “That Prophet” like Moses, brings
another new Law. Moreover, “That Prophet” would come from the region of Mount
Paran located in Arabia. What important to note is that Jesus has followed the
then existing law given by Moses but he did not bring another law just as
Moses. This means Jesus cannot be regarded in any way to be “That Prophet” like
Moses.
THE PROGENITOR FOR “THAT PROPHET” IS-ISHMAEL.
The Creator God has made
another promise about “That Prophet” like Moses who was to come from the Mount
Paran in Arabia and brings the another law, that he would be born in the
lineage Ishmael son of Hagar in following prophecy.
Then the Angel of the
Lord said to her, “I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they
shall not be counted for multitude.” And the Angel of the Lord said to her:
“Behold, you are with child, and you shall bear a son. You shall call his name
Ishmael, because the Lord has heard your affliction.– Genesis 16:10, 11
What the promise that
God has made in the above verse about Ishmael to Hagar in the above verse, the
same had been promised before to Abraham (Gen 15:4, 5). Thus according to the
promise about Isaac that God has made to Sara (Gen 17:15, 16), He has bestowed
the Law to the Israelites through Moses. In the same order the promise, which
God has made to Hagar saying “I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so
that they shall not be counted for multitude” to be fulfilled by means of the
birth of That Prophet in the lineage of Ishmael. Paul clarifies this same point
in his epistle.
The witness of Paul -
That Prophet was to come from the Arabia.
For it is written that
Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a free woman.
But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he
of the free woman through promise, which things are symbolic. For these are the
two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is
Hagar - for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem
which now is, and is in bondage with her children.– Galatians 4:22-25
In the above verse
spoken by Paul, what noteworthy is that- the two wives of Abraham those are
Sara and Hagar, are “two covenants” out of whom the two progenies of two great
nations would be emerged. According to this, in those two nations which come
out of the two women should be bestowed the prophet’s position and two laws and
they have to be emerged as two great nations. The first law had been given to
Israelites which is the progeny of Sara through Moses. In the same way, after
having been emerged That Prophet, another law has to be given to the
Ishmaelites which is the progeny of Hagar. The great evidence for this is that-
“this Hagar is Mount Sinai in ARABIA.” According to this, it is made clear that
“That Prophet”, who brings the new law like Moses, was to come from the Arabia.
Thus we came to know that the main root for That Prophet, is Ishmael.
THE JEWS WARE MISTAKEN
FOR JESUS TO BE “THAT PROPHET”.
Therefore many from the
crowd, when they heard this saying, said, “Truly this is the Prophet.”…
So there was a division among the people because of Him. Others said,
“This is the Christ.” – John 7:40-43
On careful analysis of
the above verse it is made clear that how eagerly the Jews were looking forward
for "Christ" and "That Prophet." But when Jesus came to
them there was a confusion among the Jews who already were in anticipating for
the advent of "Christ" and "That Prophet" according
to the prophecies, towards Jesus whether he was “Christ” or “That Prophet”
hearing his teachings.
IN THAT CONTEXT, WHAT
JESUS HAS REVEALED ABOUT HIM? WHETHER HE WAS “THAT PROPHET” OR “CHRIST”
When the Jews, who were
already looking forward for the three prophets, were in confusion towards Jesus
whether he was “Christ” or “That Prophet” having observe their confusion, Jesus
questioned to his disciples to know in what way they believe him as follows.
He said to them, ”But
who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ,
the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, ”Blessed are
you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My
Father who is in heaven. – Matthew 16:16, 17
When Jesus questioned
as- “But who do you say that I am? Peter has immediately answered without any
hesitation whether he was “That Prophet” or not like others, saying “You are
the Christ.” Having heard him Jesus has immediately confirmed that what the
answer Peter has given, was revealed by God. Thus Jesus has declared that he was
not “That Prophet” about whom the Jews were already looking forward according
to the prophecies.
THE WITNESS OF JESUS –
“THAT PROPHET” IS- “ANOTHER COMFORTER”
While the Jews were in
confusion towards him whether he was “Elijah” or “Christ” or “That Prophet”, in
that context, not only Jesus has confirmed that “he was Christ” to the Jews who
were already looking forward for the advent of “Elijah” “Christ” and “That
Prophet” according to the prophecies, but he has given the good news of the
advent of “That Prophet” who was to come after him as follows.
Nevertheless I
tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go
away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of
righteousness, and of judgment of sin.– John 16:7, 8
What the contention of
so many preachers of now a days is that- “another Comforter” mentioned in the
above verse is nothing but “the Holy Ghost!” Those that argue in such a way,
they have to keep in their mind that the coming of That Prophet is conditional
which is “but if I depart” means another Comforter would not come in any way to
the people as long as Jesus was in this world. Those who have the minimum
knowledge of the Bible they know very well that already Jesus have possessed
the Holy Spirit while he was speaking the above verse. If this is the fact, how
far it is correct to argue that “Another comforter” is “the Holy Spirit” who
would not come as long as Jesus was in this world?
CAN WE IMAGINE THAT
"ANOTHER COMFORTER" IS "HOLY SPIRIT?"
And I will pray the
Father, and He will give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you
forever…- John 14:16
If the meaning of
“Comforter” stands to “Holy Spirit” which has already been descended upon
Jesus, then we have to agree that “another Comforter” means “another Holy
spirit” of which can be regarded as quite contradictory to the declaration of
Bible that- “There is one Spirit” (Ephe 4:4)
Jesus also a “Comforter”
(Parakleton).
…we have an Advocate
(Parakleton) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous…- 1 John 2:1
As a matter of fact, we
find the root word for “Comforter” to be “Paracleton” in original Greek text.
In the same way, we can see the root word for “Advocate” in the above verse to
be “Paracleton” i.e. “Comforter” in the Greek text. According to this, it
becomes clear that Jesus is nothing but “Comforter”. Therefore “another
Comforter” is not the “another Holy Spirit” which has been right from the
beginning and was descended upon the all prophets, but he is the “another
Prophet” like Jesus who is none other than “Muhammad(s)” was born in the linage
of Hagar according to the promise of God. Now let us see what had been
revealed about “That Prophet” in the prophecies? And according to them what
Jesus has proclaimed about “That Prophet?”
“That Prophet” will
teach all things.
He shall speak to them
all that I command Him.- Deuteronomy 18:18
Jesus declares the same
thing.
He will teach you all
things. - John 14:26
“That Prophet” will
teach all things.
I will raise up for them
a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put my words in His
mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. - Deuteronomy 18:18
Jesus declares the same
thing.
He will guide you into
all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He
will speak. - John 16:13
We must listen the word
of “That Prophet”
The Lord your God will
raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you
shall hear. - Deuteronomy 18:15
Jesus declares the same
thing.
And now I have told you
before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe. - John
14:29
In this way Jesus has
mentioned the so many things in his ministry about “That Prophet” had been
revealed about him in the prophecies.
WHO IS “THAT PROPHET”
CALLED AS “ANOTHER COMFORTER?”
By the so far analysis
we came to know that “That Prophet” is one who brings the law like Moses and he
would come from the Paran in Arabia and yet his coming would be after Jesus.
Moreover, God has promised to Abraham beforehand to Moses as- “I will multiply
your descendants exceedingly” raising up a Prophet in Ishmaelites who are the
lineage of Hagar. The same has confirmed Paul saying “these women are the two
covenants” one of them is Hagar belongs to Arabia. Keeping theses all facts in
the mind anybody who is having the knowledge of history can easily understand
that “That Prophet” about whom God has promised to raise up in Ishmaelites so
that they multiply exceed- ingly and brings the another law like Moses, is none
other than Prophet Mohammad(s). What important to note is that even it has been
prophesied by Jesus that at what period another Comforter i.e. Muhammad(s)
would come?
ANOTHER COMFORTER WOULD
COME WHEN THE GOSPEL OF JESUS WOULD BE COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN.
“He will teach you all
things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” - John
14:26
The act of bringing into
remembrance becomes necessary only when one forgets completely what he had been
instructed to do, is irrefutable fact. This means the coming of another
Comforter would happen only when the real teachings of Jesus would be
completely forgotten or ignored by his followers and in place of them the
fabricated beliefs would be incorporated. In that context only another
comforter would come and bring into remembrance all things that Jesus had once
preached. According to the above prophecy after 325 years from the times of
Jesus in the presence of Roman Emperor Kaiser Flavius Constantine having been
incorporated the gentile doctrines like Trinity and Incarnation, a new Romanization
religion has been emerged under name of Christianity. In the context of the
real teachings of Jesus were completely disappeared God has raised up “That
Prophet” i.e. Prophet Muhammad(s) who brings the new law like Moses, in the
progeny of Ishmael son of Hagar according as to the promise that God has made
to Abraham. Prophet Muhammad(s) who born in the lineage of Ishmael, brought
into the remembrance all things of which the Christians has completely
forgotten and he testified Jesus to be Messiah. Thus the prophecy of Jesus “He
will testify of me” (John 15:26) has been fulfilled.
DOES THE ANOTHER
COMFORTER NOT APPEAR TO THE WORLD? OR THE WORLD DOES NOT SEE TO HIM?
And I will pray the
Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever
- the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees
Him nor knows Him.– John 14:17
According to the above
verse what another peculiar argument of some preachers is that another
Comforter is belonging to supernatural race! That is why nobody can see him
with naked eyes! If we keenly observe the above verse does Jesus say as- “the
world neither sees him?” or does he say as- “another Comforter does not appear
to the world?” If Jesus says as “”he does not appear to the world?” then surly
we can confirm that another Comforter is belonging to invisible race as
presumed by the preachers. But as prophesied by Jesus the people of the all
continents of the world did not see to another Comforter because Prophet
Muhammad(s) did not give his message visiting directly to the all continents of
the world but he did spread his message from the Arabia to the all continents
of the world by sending his dispels.
IF ONE ACCEPTS TO
MUHAMMAD (S)…WILL HE GET AWAY FROM JESUS? OR WILL HE GET CLOSER TO HIM?
Not only the Jews did
not believe Jesus but to eradicate his gospel they have made conspiracy to
crucify him in any way. Thus they have succeeded somehow to stop the gospel of
Jesus. That is why Jesus says “I still have many things to say to you, but you
cannot bear them now’ - John 16:12. In that situation Jesus has given the good
news saying “He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all
things that I said to you” (John 14:26) “He will guide you into all truth”
(John 16:13). However what the question of so many preachers is that Jesus has
said as- “No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6) then what
is the need to believe Muhammad? Those that are under this illusion should
observe the very important verse in the following.
He (Muhammad) will take
of what is mine (means out of the gospel of Jesus) and declare it to you (to
Jews and Christians).- John 16:14
According to the above
verse those that wish to become true Christians should observe that 1). Another
Comforter who is Mohammad(s) did not come to invite the Christians towards the
new religion but he has invited towards the religion left behind by Jesus which
is the “religion of Peace (Islam)” (John 14:27). 2). Muhammad had made
Christianity free from the pollution of gentile practices 3). Moreover by
accepting Muhammad to be the Prophet of God one can get closer to Jesus. For
more details you may read my book “ANOTHER COMFORTER” written in Telugu to be
translated in English soon. Therefore those who wish to get the eternal life
through Jesus the following basic responsibilities are put on each one.
1). One should believe
Jehovah is only God. And follow the gospel of Jesus intact accepting him to be
Crist sent by God.
2). One should accept
Muhammad(s) i.e. the another Comforter who guides us in all truth, bringing
into remembrance all things that has been once taught by Jesus in his gospel.
“That Prophet…Who?” We
got the answer for this question by the so far analysis that is- “Prophet
Muhammad(s) who called as another Comforter. May God bestow the knowledge to
understand the truths what have been revealed in so far in the light of Bible
and accept Muhammad(s) to be the last messenger of God. –Amen.
