WHO IS JESUS? AND WHAT IS HIS GOSPEL?
In the name of Creator most merciful and beneficent
My dear Christian
brethren!
This is a good sign that the Christianity is pervading across the society. But
if we think about those who are baptized and embarrassed Christianity leaving
their previous religion their progression in getting the moral values is not up
to the expected levels as compared with the gentiles.
What the question of some discerning
people is that- “The racial prejudices and disunity which can be seen in
Gentiles the same are prevailing in Christianity also in another form of
different denominations. Immorality, jealousies and hatred what the gentiles
possessed the same defects are appearing in Christianity as well. Idolatry,
polytheism, Trinity, incarnation etc., misleading doctrines which are being
adopted by the gentiles the same practices can be seen to be adopted in the
Christianity also under the cover of holiness. And the economical plundering
under the veil of religion the same is continuing in Christianity also.” The
main reason for all these defects is that- Not acquiring the proper answer to
the question that “WHO IS JESUS? AND WHAT IS HIS GOSPEL?
As a solution for these problems God has
made me to undertake this task to bring forth this small booklet under the head
of ‘Who is Jesus in reality?’ Therefore if anybody neglects to adopt the
facts which I am going to explain you in the light of Holy Bible there is
threat that the believers who got baptized with so many hopes may incline
towards another way leaving the Christianity.
By
adopting the Gospel of Jesus the contemporary people of Jesus led their life
with high moral values. The reason for this is that their comprehensive
understanding towards the person of God and Jesus in perspective way. Jesus has
clearly proclaimed as- ‘If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my
Father will love him’ - John 14:23. According to this those that are having
the staunch belief and true love in Jesus they should think seriously over the
questions that whether they are obeying the gospel of Jesus or not by means of
which the love of God can be obtained and whether they have recognized that
real God or not. Failure in acquiring the appropriate answers for these
questions cause to increase immorality and disunity in Christianity yet have
been incorporated of so many gentile doctrines in the Christianity. To come out
from these evils first let us know that “who Jesus is in reality? And what is
his Gospel?” in the light of eight testimonies propounded by the Bible.
Who Is Jesus in Reality? According to the eight testimonies Propounded by the Bible?
1. The testimony of
Jehovah about Jesus!
Behold my servant, whom I uphold; My elect, in whom my soul
delights. - Isaiah 42:1
2. The testimony of
prophecies about Jesus!
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the
command to restore and build Jerusalem until the Messiah the prince there shall
be seven weeks… - Daniel 9:25
The spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed
me to preach good tidings unto the poor. Isaiah 61:1
3. The testimony of Jesus about himself!
The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to
preach the gospel to the poor.- Luke 4:18
And Call no man your father up on the earth: for one is your Father, which is heaven.
Neither be ye called masters: for one is your master, even Christ. - Matthew 23:9, 10
And this is eternal life that they may know you, the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
- John 17:3
The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is come” who is called
Christ. He will tell us all things. Jesus said to her “I who speak you am he” -
John 4:25, 26
4. The testimony of Contemporaries about Jesus!
And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the
people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. -
Matthew 2:4
Therefore many form the crowd, when they heard this saying, said,
“Truly this the prophet.” Others said “This is the Christ”. - John 7:40, 41
5. The testimony of Apostles about Jesus!
But Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have
the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that you are
the Christ, the son of living God.- John 6:68, 69
He said to them, but who do you say that I am? Peter answered and
said him, you are the Christ.- Mark 8:29
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has
made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.- Acts 2:36
For truly against your holy Servant Jesus, whom you have
anointed...- Acts 4:27
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease
teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. - Acts 5:42
Who is the liar but he who denies
that Jesus is the Christ? - 1 John 2:22
Whosoever believes Jesus is the Christ is born of God.- 1
John 5:1
6. The testimony of Paul about Jesus!
But soul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews
who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.-
Acts 9:22
When silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was compelled
by the Spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.- Acts 18:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man
Christ Jesus. - 1 Timothy 2:5
7. The testimony of Holy Spirit about Jesus!
And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simon, and
this man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the
Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit
that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. - Luke 2:25, 26
8. The testimony of The Book of Revelation!
...but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall
reign with him a thousand years. - Revelation 20:6
Thus
according to the eight testimonies as propounded by the Bible we find Jesus to
have been introduced in the great position of Christ Messiah instead of he has
been introduced as God or incarnate of God. Moreover what the noteworthy is
that even after the ascension of Jesus as well the immediate disciples and Paul
never have testified about Jesus that he was God or incarnate of God as
proclaimed by the present day’s preachers but they have proclaimed clearly that
Jesus was “Christ Messiah”. To say in clear words Jesus had not been introduced
anywhere before his advent and in this world and even after his ascension as
God but he had been introduced in the great position of “Christ Messiah”. This
is because Paul testified saying-’Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and
today, and forever’ - Hebrews 13: 8.
Further Jehovah himself proclaims in
clear terms ‘For I am the Lord, I change not’ - Malachi 3:6 and the Holy
Bible makes clear that ‘But thou art the same’ - Psalm 102:27 According
to this, the person of Jehovah was introduced in the past, present and future
ages as ‘unchangeable and same God’ exact as this in these three ages
the person of Jesus also can be seen to have been introduced in unchangeable
position of ‘Christ Messiah’ which has been bestowed by Jehovah. So far
it is clear, but here one question may be raised that- Are Jehovah and Jesus
the eternal entities from the time immemorial? As a matter of fact in the Holy
Bible we can find Jehovah to be a person ‘From the everlasting and to
everlasting’ - Psalm 41:13 whereas Jesus seems to be a mere creature of
Jehovah according to the verse recorded in the book of Revelation as ‘The
faithful and true witness, THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION OF GOD’ - Revelation
3:14. Thus it is made evident that Jesus has been in the unchangeable state
of Christ Messiah ever since he has been created by Jehovah just as how the
whole mankind was brought in to the existence by Him in the beginning.
What was the
testimony of Paul after appearing of Jesus in his vision? Whether he was God or
Messiah?
So
many preachers of these days dare to proclaim ‘Jesus is God’ seeing some
shapes like Jesus in their dreams. By this, some criticizers question as ‘Is
the Christians’ god so unstable person as proclaims the quite contradictory
doctrines appearing in their dreams that cause to create the conflict among
their different denominations?’ Now let us see the answer for the curious
question that whether Paul has testified Jesus anywhere as one incarnate of
Jehovah as has been propagated by the now a day’s preachers in the following
verses.
...that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. - Romans 15:6
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ... - Ephesians 1:3
that THE GOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, the Father of glory,
may give you the spirit of wisdom... - Ephesians 1:17
Whether the Apostles and Paul ever have regarded Jesus to be the
incarnate of Jehovah? Or did they maintain the relation with Jehovah through
Jesus?
“Jesus
has born without the interference of physical father!” “Jesus has performed so
many miracles!” “Jesus has been crucified as a ransom on behalf of our
sins!” showing these type of points so many preachers dare to say “Jesus is God
himself.” But what noteworthy is that the immediate disciples and Paul never
have regarded Jesus to be the one incarnate of God even though they have
possessed the knowledge of the above points which fact has been disclosed in
the following verses.
First I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all... - Romans 1:8
That in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to
whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. -
1 Peter 4:11
In case Jesus is one incarnate of God
then the immediate disciples and Paul should have possessed the more authority
to preach as Jesus is the incarnation of God rather than the present day’s
preachers. But they have prayed and glorified and praised Jehovah only ‘through
Jesus Christ.’ According to this it can be well ascertained that
they never assumed Jesus to be the incarnate of Jehovah himself.
Whom Jesus has declared to be God in this world and even in the
Heaven also?
Jesus said to her, do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended
to my Father; but to go my brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my
Father and your Father, and to MY GOD and your God.- John 20:17
On
careful study of the above verse it is obvious that Jesus declare Jehovah as - ‘My
God’. But those who presume that Jesus have said as ‘My God’ in his
worldly life only but after he ascended to the heaven he obtained again of his
transcendental state of God! they should put their grave concentration over the
point that Did Jesus introduce himself anywhere as “I am God” or Did he declare
as Jehovah is ‘My God’ even in the heaven as how he testified in his
ministry?. Let us see the answer for this question that to whom Jesus has
introduced saying ‘My God’ in heaven also in the corroborative verse of
the book of Revelation as follows.
He who overcomes, I will make
him a pillar in the temple of MY GOD, and he shall go out no more. I
will write on him the name MY GOD and the name of the city of MY GOD,
the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from MY GOD. And I
will write on him my new name. - Revelation 3:12
According
to the above verse we can find conspicuously Jesus to have introduced by
himself as the servant of God who is beyond to his person and he was
proclaiming that Jehovah was ‘My God’ even in the heaven also. By this
it is made crystal clear that Jesus does not have a minute doubt about himself
that he was God or incarnate of God or he was having the divine power in
parallel to God.
To Whom Jesus ordered to pray?
Jesus always used to pray to the Creator Jehovah only!
Now it come to pass in those days that he went out to the mountain
to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. - Luke 6:12
He went a little farther and fell on his face, and prayed,
saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me;
nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will. - Matthew 26:39
Now in the morning, having risen a long while before day light, he
went out and departed to a solitary place; and there he prayed. -
Mark 1:35
Here
what more noticeable is that Paul himself testified that Jesus used to offering
up the prayers and supplications even in the difficulties with the vehement
cries and tears in submissive manner which can been seen as follows.
Who, in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and
supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save
him form death, and was heard because of his godly fear. - Hebrews 5:7
Jesus ordered to his disciples to pray only the Creator Jehovah!
You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you
shall serve. - Matthew 4:10
But you when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut
your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and
your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. - Matthew 6:6
In this manner, therefore pray: Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is
in heaven. - Matthew 6:9, 10
In
this way we not only find Jesus to have prayed the Creator Jehovah but he
ordered to his disciples also to pray and worship Jehovah only. If Jesus really
such a person as preached by the today’s pastors that Jehovah has descended in
to this world in the form of Jesus and after his ascension again he transformed
as God, could Jesus ever have prayed and praised to Jehovah and encouraged to
his disciples to do so? However what the prediction of the now a days preachers
is that- “Jesus is an example for us! he prayed to the God just to show us
as how to perform the prayer and later on his ascending to heaven he
transformed as God! Therefore now we have to pray to Jesus as how he used to
prey to Jehovah while he was in this world!”
Let
us agree that their assumption were true a while! When they claim that Jesus is
example for us then to whom one should pray in reality? According as to the
example what Jesus has left behind for his followers should one pray to Jesus?
Or to Jehovah? Is it not the quite contrary to the example enjoined by Jesus
for his followers to pray Jesus in vain instead of Jehovah? In factual reality
the immediate disciples and Paul has regarded Jesus as one who always used to
pray to Jehovah only. The corroborative evidences for this fact is that- 1.
They have believed only Jehovah as their God 2. After the ascension of Jesus
also they have prayed only Jehovah 3. They have unanimously proclaimed that
Jehovah is the God of Jesus.
What is the correct way of believing Jesus in reality?
One
of the attempts being performed by the today’s preachers to prove somehow the
divinity of Jesus is that- “Jesus is only begotten son of God!”
Therefore according to the terminology of Bible is it correct to interpret the
meaning of the word “Begotten son” in the literal form that Jesus was
come out from the womb of God just as the birth of so many take place in this
material world? In what way we have to understand the word “Begotten son”
in reality? If Jesus were truly the begotten son of God then we find Jehovah to
have proclaimed in case of so many prophets and believers as “My begotten sons”
(Due 32:18, Jacob 1:18) and “My elder sons” (Jer 31:9, Exo 4:22). Not only
these but we find in the Bible even the heirs of God” (Romans 8:16) according
to Paul is most considerable.
Therefore
my humble appeal to my high esteemed Christian brethren! The meaning of such
terminologies as have been generally written in Bible that “Begotten son” or
“Elder son” etc., does not stand to mean as begotten by the sperm or genes or
flesh of God. But those words have been used figuratively instead of that
Jehovah possessed the deep love towards them. As a matter of fact Jesus has
been coffered with the great status by the Creator Jehovah which Jesus has
proclaimed in his ministry saying “I am the Christ Messiah” (John 4:25) than
the very common rank of son ship of God what has been given to so many in Bible
in general. Therefore basing on such common rank as "begotten son of
God" it is highly impossible to prove Jesus as equal to Jehovah. Moreover
is it not ridiculous to preach on one hand that Jehovah has descended in this
world in the form of Jesus and contrary to this preaching on the other hand as
Jesus is the son of God? The two major mistakes in case of Jesus that generally
take place in the present day’s Christianity those are…
1. TO GIVE THE EXTRAORDINARY
STATE EXALTING HIS STATUS MORE THAN WHAT HE REALLY DESERVED FOR, IN PARALLEL TO
THE PERSON OF JEHOVAH WHICH CAN IN NO
WAY BE SEEN ANY WHERE IN THE BIBLE.
2. NOT INTRODUCING JESUS IN THE
GREAT STATUS OF MESSIAH BESTOWED BY GOD DEGRADING HIS PERSON TO SUCH A COMMON
STATE AS “BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD” WHICH HAS BEEN COFFERED BY JEHOVAH TO SO MANY IN THE BIBLE IN GENERAL.
FALSE PROPHETS HAVE ENTERED IN AMONG US-
BEWARE!
Paul
has clearly warned the main reason for the immorality and disunity that
prevailed in Christianity is that the falsification of the false prophets. That
is why he is saying as “Grievous wolves enter among you” - Acts 20:29. To
recognize the False Prophets easily The Holy Bible put before us some
attributes of them. Those are-
1).
"By covetousness they will exploit you with
deceptive words… - 2 Peter 2:3".
According to this the False Prophets teach the deceptive doctrines and create
conflict among basic beliefs propounded by the Bible.
2)."They speak a vision of their own heart, not from the
mouth of the Lord. – Jeremiah
23:16". According to this the False
Prophets teach the fabricated beliefs and make people to believe them by saying
as “God has appeared in our dream and taught us to preach these beliefs”. But
according to the Bible True Prophets attribute is that they “who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.” –
Jeremiah 3:15
3).
"By covetousness they will exploit you… -2 Peter
2:3". According to this the False
Prophets plunder the money from the believers. But what the order of Jesus is
that “Freely you have received, freely give.”
–Matthew 10:8
4).
"Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the
Christ? - 1John 2:22". According to this
the false prophets proclaim either Jesus is incarnate of God or Jesus is God
himself etc., instead of saying as “Jesus is Messiah” exalting
him to the extraordinary status, more than what he really deserved for, that
can in no way be found anywhere in Bible. And who are those that propagate
Jesus as mere a begotten son of God instead of propagating that Jesus is
“Messiah (Christ)” degrading his person to such a simple rank that “Son of God”
which has been given to so many in general? Just think over this.
And
how to recognize the False Prophets entered among us? Following verse is the
best measure to know the answer for this question.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether
they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
By this you know the spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus
Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not
confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God.- 1 John 4:1-3
On
careful diligent study of the above verse it can be well understood that those
that preach as “Jehovah himself has descended in the form of Jesus transforming
into the human body” instead of the above verse that “Jesus Christ has come in
the flesh” are not of God means not the true prophets. As a matter of fact, the
clause of the above verse that “Jesus Christ has come in the flesh” is no more
than the figurative description to covey “Jesus was born in the flesh as how
the birth of human beings take place in this world, but it does not mean as
“Jehovah has born in this world undergoing metamorphosis from the divine status
to human form of Jesus”. In fact the every human being is born in this world
with flesh. Because according to the verse of Holy Bible that “Of his own will
begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of
his creatures” - James 1:18 it can be well ascertained that the whole mankind
has been begotten by the creator God in the form of spirits in the beginning.
Keeping in the view of these facts in what way should one believe in Jesus?
Whether he is one who has been created in the form of spirit by Jehovah in
heaven and was born in this world with flesh! Or as one the incarnation of
Jehovah himself! On careful observation of these two statements we find that
how much of the contrast prevail between them. Therefore those that believe in
Jesus as Christ Messiah are of the God contrary to this those that believe
Jesus as one incarnate of Jehovah are not of God to mean as they are regarded
to be the false prophets according to the caution made out in above Holy
Biblical verse. Not only this but it is the precaution of above verse that to
beware of such kind of false prophets who preaches as against to the Holy
Bible. Thus the historians also declared that the practices of worshipping the
reformers means prophets, imagining them to be incarnates of God had been
incorporated in Christianity tactically by some so-called preachers came from
the gentiles.
Who played the major role in dividing
the Christianity in to the so many divisions incorporating such incongruous
doctrines like Jesus is God himself, Jesus is one of the triune Gods, Jesus is
complete human being, Jesus is one incarnate of God, Holy spirit is God and
Mary is Goddess etc.? is the most considerable point which causes to question
the criticizers as- In what way the Christianity possesses the superiority
rather than the non-Christian sects that divided into so many denominations
consisting of contradictory beliefs towards God and Jesus as how the gentiles
who were divided in to so many sectarian divisions having mistaken their holy
ones to be the incarnates of God!?”
As
a matter of to make any one equal to the Creator Jehovah is no more than the
vengeance of Satan towards Him. The clear evidences for this is that - Not only
Satan has misled and involved the then Jews in to the great sin (Exo 32:31) by
making them to practice the idolatry and worship of cow but also he has misled
the Hindus as well by making them to believe that the Creator God has
incarnated in different forms and He incarnated even in the contemptible forms
like tortoise and pig etc., on the other hand he has thrown the Muslims into
such delusion that the holy ones who were buried in the graves are the equal
shareholders in divinity of God.
Exact
as this, he perpetrated the great deal of conspiracy to make Christianity stray
form the right path enjoined by God by making them indulge into such assumption
as “We are praying our idols, our Jesus, our Mary, our Cross and our Holy
spirit as our gods but of the gentile’s idols!” In this way he wiped out
the real meaning of the word “others than God” which stands for “others
than Jehovah” and he supplanted the new meaning as “Gentiles gods!”
consequently, by the plot of Satan now a days Jesus, Mary, Holy spirit are
being worshipped instead of Jehovah. This is because the Holy Bible warns as ‘Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil
walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” - 1 Peter 5:8.
To
make the Christianity pervert from the right course Satan has begun his
conspiracy from Jesus itself. The clear evidence of which can be seen in the
ordinance of Satan saying “All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt
fall down and worship me” - Matthew 4:9. In turn Jesus also has used the
strategy to cast out the devil from him saying as fallows.
Then Jesus said to him, “A way with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You
shall worship the Lord your God (Jehovah), and Him only you shall serve.” -
Matthew 4:10
Thus
the firm and precise belief of Jesus towards Jehovah became as a mightiest
weapon to cast out Satan. However Satan has succeeded in taking the vengeance
indirectly on Jesus by making the so many people fell in to such illusion that
Jesus is God who has introduced God beyond to his person. This is his ancient
conspiracy to make people stray from the worshipping of true God. By this plot
of Satan, the "Following of Jesus" has been wiped out from the
Christianity which is the basis for the personality development instead of this
the "worshipping of Jesus come in to existence.
My dear Christian brethren! Jesus says
that “He who rejects me, and does not receive my words, has that which judges
him” – John 12:48. Therefore we have to follow Jesus intact according to what
he told in his gospel. By the so far analysis we get the answer for the
question that who is Jesus in reality? That is- Jesus is Christ (Messiah) and
we get the answer for the second question that what is his gospel? That is –
one who follows the word of Jesus will get the eternal heaven and one who
follows contrary to the word of Jesus will be brought into the God’s Judgement
and thrown in to eternal hell. By this belief only the morality and unity can
be established in the Christian world. May God lead our life in the truths what
have been revealed so far in the light of Bible and bestow the knowledge to
understand them and re- correct our beliefs according to them. –Amen.
