A small idea can change your life is the proverb that we generally hear so many times. In the same way, a small wrong decision can destroy the eternal life. No doubt this video clip aptly suits to this proverb.  

To degrade somehow the fame of Islam and the personality of Prophet Mohammad (s) so many preachers in Christianity of these days who wish to spread Christianity in any way, are uploading many of the videos and speeches in the social networks against to the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (s). In part of their efforts, recently a video clip has been designed by a Christian preacher Mr. Mario Joseph, which become viral and widely circulated in the social networks like face book and what’s app. Therein Mr. Mario Joseph claims that he was once a Muslim worked as an Imam in Masjid and later on Quran made him convert into the Christianity.  

In this video, Mr. Mario Joseph is explaining the reasons for his converting as a Christian leaving Islam. If we carefully observe the reasons what he speaks in this video clip one can easily understand that he is a born Christian and how he misconstrued the Quran and plays the tricks in disguise of ex-Imam and ex-Muslim in order to divert the Muslims minds towards Christianity and he does not have the minute knowledge in Quran. 

What more important thing that everybody should know that the reasons what he has shown in this video clip are not the newly discovered by him. These foolish things had already been fabricated by someone in the past, and they were uploaded on internet. Based on them, some Christian preachers that do not have the minute knowledge in the Quran and Bible, they make this type of crazy videos and do the nonsensical debates with Muslims so as to focus somehow the Christianity. Therefore this Mario Joseph is nothing but eating the vomit that someone had vomited in the past.

Now let us see one by one his silly and fake reasons what he has spoken in this video clip based on which he embraced Christianity in the following.

Reason No.1

‘When I was preaching, somebody asked me “Who is Jesus?” To know who he is I read the entire Quran once again 114 chapters and 6666 verses”

Mr. Mario Joseph says in this video clip that while he was preaching the Quran he was questioned that who is Jesus from the crowd then he happened to get confused and to know who is Jesus, he read the entire Quran 114 chapters and 6666 verses of Quran. I cannot understand that which “Madarsa” (Islamic College) has made to such an ignorant person as Mario Joseph as “Imam” without giving the basic information who is Jesus? Because it is surprising that how did he become as Masjid Imam without having the basic knowledge that “Jesus is Messiah?” Because a common Muslim who is having the knowledge in Quran, he can answer that- Jesus is nothing but “Messiah” son of Mary which is the basic belief of all Muslims. If he really Imam no need to read 6666 verses and 114 chapters but if he observes the index of any Quran and gone through under the names Jesus and Mariam he can get the answer within 5 minutes that Jesus is Messiah son of Mary. This means his claim that he was an ex-Imam and he has read the entire Quran to know “who is Jesus, is nothing but a fairy tale and a white lie. This so-called Imam doesn’t know that even the Quran comprises 6236 verses in reality.
   
Reason No.2

‘When I read Quran, I found the Prophet Muhammad name 4 times but the name of Jesus I found 25 places. There itself, I was little confused why does the Quran give more preference to Jesus?”

This claim clearly signifies that he is not at all an Imam but telling a lie that he is an ex-Imam. He doesn’t have the minute knowledge in Quran. The clear evidence is that the name of Prophet Muhammad is not 4 times, but 5 times was mentioned in Quran 4 times as Muhammad and one time as “Ahmed” (Quran 61:6) and if he believes that Jesus is God due to Quran gives more preference than Muhammad then how could he fail to find the name of Musa (Moses) whose name was mentioned 136 times and the name of Ibrahim was mentioned 69 times and the name of Nuh (Nova) was mentioned 43 times and the name of Lut (Lot) was mentioned 27 times and even the name of Firaun that is Pharaoh was mentioned 74 times in Quran! Therefore due to the name of Pharaoh was mentioned many of the times rather than Jesus why could not he accept to Pharaoh as his god instead of Jesus? By this, a layman also can understand that this Mario Joseph is not at all an Imam but a liar and he is a born Christian and plays the drama like ex-Imam in this video clip.

When it comes to the matter of comparison between the mentioning of Jesus and Prophet Muhammad in Quran, it is sheer wrong to compare as how many times Jesus’ name was mentioned and how many times the Prophet Muhammad’s name was mentioned in Quran. Because Mr. Mario Joseph believes Jesus to be God as his name is mentioned 25 times in Quran, then he should have compared Jesus with such person whom the Muslims believes to be God! In fact, no any Muslim in the world believe Prophet Muhammad (s) to be God, but they believe him to be a servant of Allah. So, Mr. Mario Joseph would have compared the mention of Jesus with the mention of Allah. While he was believing Jesus to be God how did he compare Jesus with the servant of Allah? How could he fail to observe the name of Allah mentioned in Quran 2698 times whom the Muslims believe to be God of Muhammad and whose name is mentioned 100 folds than Jesus?


Reason No.3

‘I could not see any women’s name in Quran the prophet Muhammad mother’s name, or Wife’s name or Children’s’ name, no.  In the Quran, there is only one women’s name I found Mariam, the mother of Jesus.”

The Quran introduces itself in the beginning verse Chapter no.2 verse no 1 that this Quran is a Guidance to the entire mankind. Quran is not the historical book written by some body later on ages just as Bible has been written. Therefore, Quran does not contain the genealogy of any prophet or the family details of Prophet Mohammad (s). In Quran, Allah has mentioned about the wives of Prophet Muhammad but not with the names because when Allah directly communicating with Prophet Muhammad about his wives then there is no need to take the name of them separately. Now the point is what for Allah has mentioned the name of Mary and explained the story of Mariam under the Chapter of Mariam is that already the then Christians were under the illusion that Jesus was God and the Mother of Jesus was also a God! To eradicate their misconceptions Allah has revealed the actual status of Jesus and Mary in Quran. To be frank, mentioning or not mentioning someone’s name is not the criteria to decide one’s status. When it comes to that point, depending on the context, the name of a bitter enemy of Prophet Mohammad that Abu-Lahab, was mentioned in the Quran. This means is there any something special in him? 

Reason No.4

‘And the holy Quran Chapter no. 3, the Chapter name is “the family of Mariam” and the holy Quran Chapter 19, the name of the Chapter is “Mariam.” One Chapter is Mariam. So I was very curious to know why does Quran say all these things. About Mariam, Holy Quran chapter 3 verse 34 onwards says that Mary was born without original sin, she never committed any sin in her life, and she was ever virgin. Quran Chapter 50 verse 23 says that she went to heaven with her physical body.

One more big error of this so-called Imam is that Quran Chapter no.3 is not the “Family of Mariam” but “the Family of Imran (Ale-Imran).” It is the “Ale-Imran” but not the “Ale-Mariam!” And when it comes to the matter of the Chapter’s name that “Mariam”, it is not at all the measure to attribute any speciality to anybody. Because we not only find the Chapter under the name of Mariam, but we can find the chapter under the name of “Muhammad” and as well as so many Chapters written under the names of so many Prophets like “Imran”, Yunus (Jonah), Yusuf (Joseph), Ibrahim (Abraham), Nuh (Nova) etc. How could this so-called Imam fail to find these all chapters apart from the chapter of Mary?

And he says that Quran chapter no.3 verse 34 onwards says that Mary was born without original sin, she never committed sin in her life, and she was ever virgin. To be frank, in those verses it is not written so, it is clear evidence that he never have read the Quran. The second evidence to say that Mr. Mario Joseph even does not touch the Quran ever in his life is that- in chapter 50 verse no. 23 it is not written that “She (Mary) went to heaven with her physical body!” Not only in this verse, we do not find in any verse to have been written as so. These are the clear proofs to say that he is not an ex-Imam but a Christian under the disguise of ex-Imam.

Reason No.5

‘And then about Jesus, when I read chapter no. 3 verses 45 to 55 verses, there are 10 points which the Quran makes about Jesus. The first thing Quran says that “Kalimatullah” which means “word of God” and the second thing “Roohullah” means “spirit of God” and third is “Isa Masih” which means “Jesus Christ.” So Quran gives the name for Jesus, word of God, Spirit of God and Jesus Christ.          

This is the one more evidence to say that this Mario Joseph is a liar and does not have even the primary knowledge in Quran. Because in Quran, chapter no.3 verses 45 to 55 verses, we do not find to have Allah said about Jesus that Jesus is “Kalimatullah” which means word of God, but we find to have Allah said about Jesus as “Kalimatum-min-Allah” which means “a word form Allah” but it is not “word of Allah”. Let us observe the following verse.

Behold! The angels said: “O Mary! Allah gives you glad tidings of A WORD FROM HIM (ALLAH) his name will be Jesus Christ, the son of Mary.” – 3:45     

In the same way, this so-called Imam misinterprets another verse of Quran Chapter no. 4 verse no. 171 that Jesus is “Ruhullah.” As a matter fact, in this verse also we do not find to have been written as “Ruhullah” which means the spirit of God. But we find to have been written as “Ruhum-min-Allah” which means “Spirit from Allah”. If Mario Joseph assumes that Jesus is the spirit of Allah derived from Him and so, Jesus is God, then he has to accept according to Quran 15:29, 32:9 every human being is the spirit of God along with Jesus! Because in those verses Allah says that “I have breathed into man of My spirit” the same we find in the Bible also to be written as “The Lord God breathed into his nostrils the breath of Life" (Genesis 2:7). Not only according to Quran but also according to the Bible, right from the Adam every human being possessed of the spirit of God means “Ruh of Allah” then, therefore, can this false preacher ready to accept all human beings as the spirits of God along with Jesus?    

As a matter of fact, Jesus was born without the biological father by means of the “order” or the “word” from Allah just as how He created Adam and rest of the creation with His determination through the “word” or “order”. When Allah intended to create Jesus without the Father, He has given an order, in turn after the nine months Jesus was born through the womb of Mary. The Bible also says same thing that “the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). Thus Jesus is nothing but a creature who came into the existence by the “order” or the “word” from Allah. The same thing Quran says that “When Allah determines a matter, He only says “Be”, and it is” (19:35).

Reason No.6

‘And then Quran says that Jesus spoke when he was very small, like 2 days old, after his birth. He began to speak. Quran says that Jesus created alive bird with mud. He took some mud formed a bird; when he breathed into it, it becomes a live bird. So I think that he can give life. He gave life mud, clay. And then Quran says that Jesus cured a man born blind and a man leprosy, etc. Quran says that Jesus gave life to dead people.

The above statement of Mr. Mario Joseph also clearly signifies that he is not at all an Imam and he does not read the Quran even one time in his life. Because when Jesus was a child in cradle what he spoke? “He said, “I AM INDEED A SERVANT OF ALLAH”. When Mr. Mario Joseph assumes that  Jesus is God due to he began to speak being a child, then how did he become blind to read that Jesus is A SERVANT OF ALLAH?

Jesus created alive bird with mud and he cured a man born blind and a man leprosy and performed so many miracles but how did he perform them? Allah says in the Quran “And We gave unto Jesus, son of Mary, clear miracles" (2:87). Did Jesus say anywhere in Quran as “I am doing all these miracles with my own divinity?” No. Now let us see what Jesus says in Quran as follows.

Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your God in that I design for you from the clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by the permission of Allah. And I cure the blind [from birth] and the leper, and I give life to the dead – by the permission of Allah. – 3:49

Thus Jesus performed every miracle by the permission of Allah but not by his own will. The same thing we can find in the Bible also. “Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs WHICH GOD DID THROUGH HIM in your midst” (Acts 2:22). In this way, Bible also clearly says that the miracles and wonders what was performed by Jesus were actually performed by the power of God.            


Reason No.7

‘Jesus went to heaven, He is still alive, and he will come again. According to the Quran Prophet Muhammad is not the word of God, not the spirit of God, never spoke he was 2 years old, never created any bird with mud, never cured any sick people, never raised any dead people, he himself died and according to Islam he is not alive and he will not come back. And there is a lot of difference between these two prophets. I didn’t call Jesus, God, you know my idea “He is a prophet” but prophet greater than Muhammad.

If we read the above statement of Mr. Mario Joseph one can understand that he has converted as Christian based on the silly reasons or just he plays merely a drama that he has converted from Islam to Christianity. Jesus is still alive. But how he is still alive? The Bible itself gives the answer in John chapter 6 verse no. 57 “I LIVE BECAUSE OF THE FATHER”. So Jesus is alive because of the God. But not according to his own power. 

Did Mario Joseph read anywhere in the Quran that Muhammad is not the word of God and not the spirit of God? Already I have given the reference that everybody and everything has been created by the word of God (Quran 19:35) and Allah says that “I have breathed into the man of My spirit” (Quran 15:29, 32:9). This means not only Jesus and Muhammad everybody is the spirit of God.

And he says that Muhammad did not perform any miracle, he never spoke when he was 2 years old, he never created any bird, never cured any sick people never raise any dead etc.,. My Question is did Jesus perform all these miracles with his own power? No. All the miracles were done by God through him. Jesus himself says in the Bible “I can of Myself do nothing” (John 5:30). Then what makes difference whether Muhammad (s) performed miracles or not? Not only by Jesus, but the same miracles were performed by the so many prophets before him.  

And he says that according to Islam Muhammad is not alive but Jesus is alive. So Jesus is greater than Muhammad(s). Quran says that “And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: "They are dead." Rather, they are alive” (2:154). According to this verse, those who are died in the way of Allah are not dead but alive. So, not only Jesus there are so many who slain in the way of God are alive. This means to say in clear terms the true believers of Allah never be regarded as dead but they always are alive. Then does Mr.Mario Joseph ready to accept those all who slain in the way of God to be gods along with Jesus? 

Quran says that “Every soul shall have a taste of death” (3:185). So, nobody can escape from death either Adam or Abraham or Moses or Jesus or Muhammad (s) everybody should taste the death except Allah. Some may get quickly and some may get a little late. In fact, though the Prophet Muhammad (s) breath was stopped before the fourteen hundred years, still he is alive in the form of Quran and Hadis among us.             

He is showing another reason why he has embraced Christianity that- Jesus is a great prophet than Muhammad. If he was really a Muslim and an Imam once, he would not have shown a distinction between the prophets. Because a true Muslim makes no distinction between any prophet of God. Because Quran says a true Muslim “does not make any distinction between any of the messenger of God (2:136).”

Reason No.8

‘One day I went to my teacher I asked him, how did God create the universe? Then he said, “God created the universe through the word.” Then my Question word is the creator? Or creation? Quran says Jesus is the word of God. If my teacher says that the word of God is creator which means Jesus is the creator. Then the Muslims must become Christin. 

If he really were Imam, how he happened to confuse that how God created the universe? Because it is clearly mentioned in Quran that “When Allah determines a matter, He only says “Be”, and it is” (19:35). Means if Allah determinates to create anything, as soon as He commands “Be” and it immediately comes into the existence. If God does not determine to create anything His word individually cannot create anything with its own will. So the determination of God creates everything but not His word. So, word neither be regarded as a creature or a creator but it is merely a medium and everything is created by the determination of Allah only.    

Mr. Mario Joseph again says that Jesus is the word of God. Already I have explained in the previous subject that Quran does not say that Jesus is the word of God but “word from Allah”. Then the argument that only Jesus himself is the word of Allah is refuted. And no need to any Muslim tries to prove that the word is a creature but not the creator! This argument belongs to the Christians as in the Bible it was written that “the word was god” (John 1:1). In the Bible not only the word, every believer is god (Psalm 86:6). According to Jesus those who get the word of God they also the gods (John 10:36). Moses also god (Exodus 7:1). Even the Satan also god (2 Corinthians 4:4). Therefore according to the Bible, only the word is called as god but so many are called as gods. So, there is no chance according to the Bible to say as only the word is called as god, and that word is itself Jesus. So, Jesus himself is the creator!

What the presumption of nowadays Christians is that Jesus himself is the word of God. According to the Bible, this argument can be refuted. Observe the following verse.

…and He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John who bore witness TO THE WORD OF GOD, AND TO THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST. – Revelation 1:1, 2 
  
If Jesus himself were the word of God then how John could bear the witness to the word of God separately from Jesus? As mentioned earlier, Jesus also was created by the “Order” or the “Command” or the “word” of God just the whole universe was created. The clear proof is that “the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). Thus Jesus is nothing but a creature who came into the existence by the “order” or the “word” from Allah.

If Jesus is presumed to be the word of God, therefore he is the root of God! Then the people of Christianity must observe that Jesus testifies about himself as “I am the Root and the offspring of David (Revelation 22:16)”. If Jesus were the word of God itself, he would have testified as “I am the Root and offspring of God!”  
        
Mr. Mario Joseph says that everything is created by the word of God, therefore the word is the creator. Then my question is how Jesus was created? And who created Jesus? Is it not God? The clear proofs are there in the Bible itself. Jesus himself says that “he is the beginning of the creation of God" (Rev 3:14). Another clear proof is that Jesus was born by the will of God (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:22)” and many more proofs are there. In the Quran, it is clearly mentioned that “Jesus in the sight of God is like Adam, He created him from dust; then said to him, ‘Be!’ and he was" (3:59). When Mr. Mario Joseph read the entire Quran 114 chapters to know who Jesus is, how could not he observe this verse? 

When he found about Jesus that he is the word of God and spirit of God in Quran then why did not he ever observe the following verses about Jesus. 

They disbelieved indeed those that say that God is Jesus - 5:17

Certainly, they disbelieve who say God is the Messiah, son of Mariam; and the Messiah said: O Children of Israel! Serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him the garden, and his abode is the fire; and there shall be no helpers for the unjust.  - 5:72

According to these verses, did he become as a Cristian? Or a disbeliever by believing Jesus as God? And converted into the Christianity having done the cursory reading of Quran. Then how he suggests to the Muslims that they must become Christin?

Reason No.9

‘I took my Quran and I said “Allah tell me what I should do because your Quran says that Jesus is still alive and Muhammad is no more. You tell me whom should I accept? After My prayer I opened the Quran I saw Chapter no. 10 verse no. 94. Quran says in this verse that “If you have any doubt in this Quran which I give to you, go and read the Bible or ask the people, those who read the Bible. The truth is already revealing that. So if you ask me who made me Christian. It’s not any fathers not any sisters it’s not any bishops it’s not any Cardinals it’s not even the pope but Holy Quran converted me into Christianity.

This is the one more ridiculous reason that Mr. Mario Joseph shows why he converted as Christian. When he read the entire Quran 114 chapters to know about Jesus did he observe only this thing that Jesus is alive and Muhammad is no more? In which verse it is written that Muhammad is no more? Nowhere in the entire Quran, it is written so. Is this point not lead us to the conclusion that he speaks a sheer lie and he never read the Quran in his life? When he found that Jesus is alive in Quran then how could not he ever have observed the commandment of Allah that “They disbelieved indeed those that say that God is Jesus?” 

And he claims that when he opened the Quran he saw Chapter no. 10 verse no. 94 he found that “If you have any doubt in this Quran which I give to you, go and read the Bible or ask the people, those who read the Bible. The truth is already revealing that”. Is it really written so in the Quran? No. Quran says “If you were in doubt as to what we have revealed unto you, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before you: the truth has indeed come to you from your God”. Allah does not say in this verse that if you have any doubts go and read the Bible or learn from the Christians. 

In fact, the nature of the revelation of God is completely new to the then people of Makkah and some people were in doubt towards the revelation of Quran. In such a context, to strengthen their faith, Allah has said: “If you were in doubt as to what we have revealed unto you then ask those who have been reading the Book from before you”. And when some people in Makkah get the doubt that how does Allah elect the men to be prophets? Then Allah says another place that “And before you, we sent none but men, to whom We granted inspiration: if you realize this not, ask of those who possess the message" (16:43). Because already the people of Book (Christians and Jews) were well acquainted with the nature of the revelation of God and the Prophets. They have been already reading Torah, Jabur and Injeel from before the people of Makkah. That is why to make confirm and strengthen them Allah some places said as “if you have any doubt confirm with the people of Book who have been already reading form before you.” This is actually a temporary commandment of Allah to the then people of Makkah so as to strengthen their belief only. But it cannot be applied in the present context. Because the complete Quran has already been revealed and the way of God has completely shown by the Prophet Muhammad. So, if the present Muslims get any doubt no need to read the Bible it is enough to read the Quran and Hadis to get clarity on any doubt. 

Mr. Mario Joseph, how did he fail to understand this small point being in such a great position as Imam and converted into Christianity with the improper knowledge in Quran?

Reason No.10

‘Again one more word I heard that was John chapter no. 1 verse 12. It is written in this verse that if anyone accepted Jesus, Jesus will give them power to become the children of God. In all the verses of Quran, Allah calls the human beings slaves, and Allah is master. Master cannot love the slave, the slave cannot love the master.

By this statement of Mr. Mario Joseph, it is clearly understood that he neither has the minimum knowledge of the Quran nor the Bible. In the Quran, it is mentioned that ''Allah is Oft-Forgiving, full of loving" (85:14). And He says referring to the mankind that “Allah is indeed compassionate and merciful to you" (57:9). “Allah loves the righteous" (3:76)” In this way, we find in so many places Allah says that He loves to the human beings. But nowhere we find in Quran as if he hates the people and regarded them in lesser degree as slaves.

In actual reality, according to the Bible, Jesus himself is a servant means slave of God. We read in the Bible “Behold! My servant whom I have chosen" (Matthew 12:18). “To you first, God, having raised up His servant Jesus, sent him to bless you" (Acts 3:26).  If Allah does not love to the slaves in the Quran as claimed by Mr. Mario Joseph, then Allah should not love to Jesus and his mother Mary also in the Quran as they were slaves of Allah. But we find in Quran that how great respect Allah has given to Jesus and his Mother. That is why the crores of the Muslims across the world believe and respect Jesus as Messiah and his mother a chaste woman whereas the Jews rejected Jesus to be Messiah and branded his Mother as unchaste women (May God forbid). Therefore this reason of Mr. Mario Joseph is also refuted.

By the so far analysis on the reasons that Mr. Mario Joseph has told in his video clip why he converted as Christian are nothing but his misunderstandings and we can clearly say that he neither ex-Muslim nor an ex-Imam of Masjid. This is nothing but the tricky video a plot of some church people who made him portrait a drama like an ex-Imam and by means of reading the Quran, he converted as Christian. We can say that this video is no more than “The fictitious tale of a so-called Imam!”

I INVITE MR. MARIO JOSEPH TOWARDS ISLAM

If Mr. Mario Joseph was really an ex-Muslim and an ex-Imam embraced Christianity basing on the misconceptions that he spoken in this video clip then I sincerely invite him towards Islam. Because he took a very big risk converting into Christianity. To be frank, those that do not believe in Muhammad (s) as a last Messenger of God then Jesus will accuse them according to the Bible! To know how it possible read the following verse.

How can you believe which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that comes from God only? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you, even Moses in whom you trust. For if you believed Moses, you would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if you believe not his writings, how shall you believe my words? -John 5:44-47

According to the above verse, it is made clear that the then Jews were in a thought that they had believed Moses and the law given by him, and it was enough for their salvation. In such context, to rebut their false hope Jesus says- “For if you believed Moses, you would have believed me: for he wrote of me”. This statement of Jesus implies to mean as ‘‘if Jews have not believed Jesus, they have not believed Moses also”. In this way, Jesus had suggested the Jews that they ought to have believed him also.

Therefore, Moses himself will accuse against the Jews who rejected Jesus to be Messiah before God on the Day of Judgment as he wrote about Jesus. In the same way, Jesus will accuse against those Christians that reject the Prophet Muhammad (s) to be the last messenger of God as Jesus has foretold about him. Read the following good news from Jesus about the advent of Prophet Muhammad (s). 

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away the Comforter will not come unto you, but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he has come, he will reprove the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment. -John 16:7-9

Therefore, the Christians must believe the prophecies foretold about the advent of the last prophet Muhammad (s) by Jesus as his forerunner. Otherwise, Jesus will accuse against those Christians that reject the Prophet Muhammad (s) to be the last messenger of God.
